In consideration of the difficulties that our students may have in returning to school to write their exams and resume other academic activities, occasioned by the lockdown in various states; and in pursuance of the directives of the Federal Government for schools to continue with e-learning and virtual teaching, the management of the Institution, rising from an emergency Academic Board meeting on May 4, 2020, has come up with the following decisions:

  1. All academic activities shall henceforth, be carried out online till further notice.
  2. The first semester examinations of the 2019/2020 Academic session will now be written online, beginning from Monday, 11th May, 2020. 
  3. Online lectures for the second semester, 2019/2020 Academic session, will commence on Monday, 1st June, 2020. 
  4. All interactions with students shall be done online using video-conferencing applications i.e. zoom and the school portal.
  5. Only registered students who have paid their first semester fees will have access to the portal to participate in the examinations.
  6. Those who have paid their fees should text their names and Registration numbers to 08182068338 for their examination pin.
  7. Those who have not paid their fees should pay to the following accounts: Maurid Polytechnic, 2031304607, First Bank OR Maurid Polytechnic, 0042786688, Union Bank and obtain clearance from the bursary by texting their evidence of payment to 08182068338.
  8. Students who pay their fees over the counter in banks should use their names in the same order that they appear on their official records (surname first) as the depositor's name OR if they do USSD transfers, they should screenshot and send the debit alert and their official names to 08182068338 (WhatsApp only).
  9. Students should pay for their course registration forms to Maurid Polytechnic, 5210025493, Fidelity Bank.

We solicit the parents and guardians to support their children and wards by paying their fees and providing enabling gadgets and data that they need to effectively participate in the online examinations and lectures.
